In 1977, I met Dr. Frederik Schroyens when we both attended the Long Course in Homeopathy at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital. After the course’s conclusion, Dr. Schroyens worked with Prof. Jean Fichefet to transpose and expand the data of Kent’s Repertory of Medical Symptoms to a digital format. The result of this work is a tool used daily by thousands of homeopaths all around the world called Synthesis.
Dr. Schroyens’ work completely changed the ability of homeopaths to deliver better results to patients in a timely manner. Prior to the creation of Synthesis, homeopaths had to spend at least 10 to 20 minutes of every consultation seeking the appropriate treatment to patients in an analog database.
With Dr. Schroyens’ digital repertory, this effort was reduced to just a few seconds. More importantly, Dr. Schroyens dedicated himself to enhance, correct, and modernize the repertory and the database behind the software.
Dr. Schroyens not only undertook a complete and general correction of the database, but also constantly updated it with the results of new academic studies on thousands of remedies. To achieve this result, Dr. Schroyens built a team of dedicated associates helping him daily throughout the years.
Synthesis is not a static database. It is a daily updated medical tool containing thousands of entries (clinical symptoms) with hundreds of verified remedies focused on supporting the medical homeopathic practice.
Synthesis is Dr. Schroyens’ most original contribution as a medical professional to improving people's health and quality of life. He has dedicated all his energy, expertise and reputation to providing homeopaths with a safe and reliable medical tool.
Synthesis is a trusted and constantly updated database with a user-friendly interface that supports the medical homeopathic practice around the world.
Synthesis’ effectiveness and reputation as a reliable medical tool is underpinned by Dr. Schroyens’ diligent work and his ability to constantly innovate and update his repertory with trusted information.
Most importantly, it is the result of his solemn dedication to patients and medical professionals in benefit of human health and quality of life. Schroyens’ living database, which is by far the best available information tool for homeopathic medical practice, depends on his professional dedication and participation.
